Returning home from your semester abroad or coming back from a longer stay abroad, wondering what and where ‘home’ is ? Wondering how to transfer your international experience into a valuable asset for your professional and personal future? Would you like to network with other ‘returnees’ and contribute to meaningful experiences abroad for others?
In this workshop, we will identify the individual knowledge, skills and competences you have acquired through your stay abroad and reflect on how to use them for your professional and personal future. The theoretical part includes the concepts of interculturality and transculturality, culture and cultural dimensions
, and reverse culture shock. In the practical part, you will develop your own small project to help others prepare for their future intercultural experience abroad or back at home. Possible projects could be a short video or podcast, planning an activity or creating a checklist.
